Searching for GOD in Art

Coincidence in life made me understand that there is something spiritual above what we do or see. As all human being I have experience the dark and the light, and this will be indicate in my works that are meticulous choices of technique, texture, style, and the quotation from the holy books, that demonstrate my  power, strength, ability and most of all my faith.
My search for God started in my early childhood,  I realized that nature and man are a divine creation, I believed in miracles and endless cosmic love. Back then I already understood that no matter what, we must live with happiness, (Jewish religious, obliging to be with happy heart). Happiness is endless and gives meaning to life. Man should be happy and glad in all time in his life, so said Rabbi Nachman as nothing is obvious

In the year 2003 a tragedy agitate my life, and I turned to god for help, chaos,  confusion turned into my life …. And I was saved not only once by miracles. I asked for God for pardon: “Have mercy on me God as my soul seek for your protection and with your shadow I will find shelter “(art no. 2 ), I asked the light to control again in my life : “Let there be light”, (art no.4), I was reborn “Man and Female he created them” (art no.6  I have started to pray, to light the candles in Shabbat, I gather strength in faith, I  stick to life. My soul asked for the divine love, unity, harmony with Godhead. I chosen the way of modesty, chastity, humbleness, decency, that is based on strength ethics and manners and above all – faith, I went to look for the light and enlightenment.

Since “Let there be light”, in the Bible the concept of light is connected and identified with God.  The light of Let there be light” is previous to the creation of the sun. It’s a light with no source of light, this is why it’s endless….

The Main Light thought lot’s of generation is a symbol – to the light of God, the light of wisdom, education and salvation.

The investigator Portal claims that in Christianity the color blue symbolized wisdom, faithful decency, secrecy. The color white symbol purity spirituality, the color gray involved black and white, dark and light, death and rebirth. Purple which is a combination of blue and red symbols spirit, soul, pointed to love and wisdom, and ascribed to sacred. Yellow symbols happiness light, gold symbols overflow, luck spiritual and connection to God. The color symbols expression, and its function to awake the sense and the motion. Through art we see the inner   soul, the beauty, claims the philosopher Plotinus.

My artworks present two periods:
The Purple – represent my departure, isolation, my struggle

The Gold – represent the enlightenment and faith.

I believe in God, and I always thank him for all.
